Meet The Team

Hello my name is David Grube.  I'm a homeschool student.  I intensively study native habitat restoration and permaculture.  When I am not studying I am probably practicing music, playing strategy board games, or volunteering at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.

Hi! I'm a Senior at Cincinnati Country Day School. My interests include writing, communication, and activism. At school I'm the head of our coffee cart, student publication, and health and wellness council. Outside of school I've done work with the Cincinnati Zoo, Tellus Zine, and the Cincinnati Nature Center

Hello! For starters, I am human- I just happen to have a very photogenic chicken (Her name is Mary). I am currently a Homeschooled Junior in High School who loves learning and researching new topics! I can't wait to make brand new episodes!

Hello, Amos Here! I'm a Junior at Seven Hills, and When I’m not working on this podcast you can often find me volunteering at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, hiking, reading a book, or doing my best to exhaust myself. I am thankful for all the hard work, dedication, and overall fun personalities of my fellow team members.

Hi, I’m Riley! I’ve been volunteering at the Cincinnati Zoo since 2017, and my love for conservation and the environment extends to my time spent fostering kittens and leading a conservation science intensive camp that’s open to girls nationally. I love my work on this podcast, and I’m so grateful for the Universal Impact of You team and all of the incredible creativity and inspiration they bring.

Hi! I'm a senior at St. Ursula Academy. I do a lot in my spare time with volunteering, both at the Cincinnati Zoo and at Ohio Alleycat Rescue. I'm also big on spending time with family and friends. In school I am a part of the vocal ensemble, as well as various clubs like student outreach and NHS.

Hello, I'm Olivia. I am currently a freshman at WVU  studying forensic biology. I’m a huge animal lover and when I’m not at the zoo I’m probably riding horses. I also really enjoy watching theater and participating both on stage and behind the scenes. I also love playing and listening to music.
